100% of the proceeds of print and download contributions will be donated to the Appomattox County Historical Society to help maintain the Clover Hill Village and the Long Road Home programs that promote the living history of the Civil War times. The Long Road Home Living History Event is actually five annual events on the Road to Appomattox. The Appomattox County Historical Society, together with the United Daughters of the Confederacy Appomattox Chapter 11, Lee's Lieutenants, and the Federal Generals Corps invite one and all to the second event on "The Long Road Home" leading to the 150th anniversary of Appomattox.
